Anand Bagaria is a prominent Nepali entrepreneur and business leader, widely recognized for his role as the Managing Director of Nimbus Holdings P. Ltd. and Probiotech Industries Pvt. Ltd. He is also one of the “Sharks” on the first season of Shark Tank Nepal.
Born in 1972, Anand Bagaria pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Production from R.V. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India, graduating in 1994. He also completed a Master’s in Entrepreneurial Program (EMP) organized by MIT and EO. His entrepreneurial journey began even during his college years, when he exported handicrafts from Nepal to the US. After completing his engineering, he ventured into the import and distribution of FMCG products and set up a manufacturing unit for writing instruments before shifting his focus to the agribusiness sector.
Under his leadership, Nimbus Holdings P. Ltd. has grown into one of Nepal’s leading business houses with interests in various sectors including:
