Nirvana Chaudhary is a dynamic Nepali entrepreneur and philanthropist, widely recognized as the Managing Director of CG Corp Global, a multinational conglomerate with a significant global footprint.

Born on March 15, 1982, in Kathmandu, Nepal, Nirvana Chaudhary inherited a legacy of entrepreneurship from the esteemed Chaudhary family. His educational background includes primary schooling at The Doon School in India and further studies at Harrow School in the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from Kathmandu University, Nepal, and has completed executive programs such as the Entrepreneurial Master’s Programs at London Business School and MIT. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Global Leadership Program.

At the age of 19, Chaudhary embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey by founding CG Finco. He swiftly ascended to the position of Managing Director of CG Corp Global before turning 30. CG Corp Global, founded by his grandfather Lunkaran Das Chaudhary and significantly expanded by his father Binod Chaudhary, is a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning over 202 companies and 261 brands across 30 countries. Its ventures include FMCG (most notably Wai Wai noodles), financial services (including a significant stake in Nabil Bank, Nepal, and Chairman of Union Bank, Sri Lanka), hospitality (CG Hotels and Resorts), education, electronics, real estate, and more.

Beyond his business leadership, Nirvana Chaudhary is deeply committed to philanthropy. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Chaudhary Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CG Corp Global, focusing on initiatives in education, healthcare, and disaster relief. He has spearheaded projects in partnership with organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to improve health and sanitation in Nepal. He also runs his private philanthropy initiative, the Binod & Sarika Chaudhary Foundation, named after his parents.

Nirvana Chaudhary is a multi-faceted personality with diverse interests. He is a musician, a seasoned adventurer (having scaled Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp), and a former member of Nepal’s National Squash team. He is also a published author, with children’s books like “Araaya’s Fables” promoting moral values and “Beyond Wonder Woman,” which celebrates women’s successes and advocates for gender equality. He shares his insights on leadership and business through his podcast “Making It Bigger” and various articles in prominent business magazines.

His contributions have been recognized globally, including being honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, Tatler’s New Face of Asia, and Asia’s most influential. He has spoken at prestigious platforms like Harvard Business School and the Davos Summit on Climate Change, highlighting Nepal’s role and potential on the global stage. He has also held significant honorary roles, such as Honorary Consul of Serbia to Nepal and formerly Honorary Consul General of Maldives to Nepal, and is actively involved in various business advisory groups and industry confederations in Nepal and internationally.
