Suraj Vaidya is a prominent Nepali entrepreneur, business leader, and an active advocate for economic growth and reform in Nepal. He is recognized for his leadership within the Vaidya’s Organization of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH) and his influential roles in national and regional business organizations.

Vaidya holds an MBA degree from George Mason University. He serves as the President of VOITH, a business house established in 1967, which operates across various sectors including agriculture, construction, education, and trading. In the agricultural sector, his key industries focus on tea, flora, poultry, and animal feed. His companies in these sectors are noted for their community development approach alongside economic value creation.

Beyond his direct business interests, Suraj Vaidya has played significant roles in the broader business community. He is the Immediate Past President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), one of Nepal’s most influential business associations. He has also served as the Vice President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting his regional influence.

Vaidya has been a strong proponent of economic growth and has actively engaged in addressing critical development constraints in Nepal. He has advised the Prime Minister’s Economic Group and served as the Chairman (Branding and Marketing) for Nepal Investment Year 2012/13.
